Dr. Todd earned a M.A. in child study from Tufts University in Medford, MA. He received a M.A. and a Ph.D. in clinical/school psychology from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. He completed his clinical internship at the Astor Day Treatment Program in the Bronx, NY, where he worked with severely emotionally disturbed children. His school psychology internship was completed in elementary, middle, and high schools. Dr. Todd has worked in a therapeutic preschool, co-taught kindergarten, provided psychological services at a day treatment program for children, and has provided treatment on the lower Eastern Shore since 1989. Dr. Todd's professional interests include: Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, cognitive behavioral therapy, parenting, anxiety, and depression. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and a Fellow of the Maryland Psychological Association. Dr. Todd has been a licensed psychologist in Maryland since 1991 and has over 30 years of experience providing mental health services.
Mrs. Brown received her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Following her graduate training, she was employed by the Wicomico County Department of Social Services, serving in Child Protective Services as a lead sex abuse investigator. Mrs. Brown also worked for 10 years as a family therapist in the Child and Adolescent Addictions Program for the Wicomico County Health Department. She developed and implemented school-based treatment programs and participated in school collaborative trainings to improve identification of high risk youth. As a family therapist, Mrs. Brown provided agency based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. For 18 years, Mrs. Brown worked at PRMC and Sheppard Pratt serving the mental health community. Following early retirement from Sheppard Pratt, she joined Atlantic Psychological Practice in 2016. Her interests include individual therapy, family therapy, and small group therapy.
